Aircraft peels off, dives to left. 2) ADS on ground. 3) ASV MLS MIG-15 traveling L to R, photo ship moves into a CU underneath MIG-15. 4) AV as MIG-15 makes inside barrel roll. Several views of same. 5) ASV MS MIG-15 traveling L to R, photo ship passing over top of MIG-15, aircraft passing out of scene at bottom right. 6) ASV CU MIG-15 traveling L to R, peeling off to right, then leveling off to an ELS. (Very good scene, beautiful cloud formation.) Reel 2: 1) MLS SV MIG-15 travels L to R, aircraft passes out of scene to left. 2) ALS MIG-15 peeling off to left to an ELS. (Bg beautiful cloud formation.) Aircraft is being followed by an F-86D, camera leaves the F-86D panning to the MIG-15, traveling L to R. Several views of same. Reel 3: SLATE: MOTION PICTURE WRIGHT FIELD. DATE: SUNDAY, 21 FEBRUARY, 1954. MIG-15. l) MS MIG-15 aircraft stationary on flight line, personnel looking over same. 2) CU Russian insignia on MIG-15. 3) Several identification views of MIG-15. 4) LS pan R to L with an F-94C taxiing, passing out of scene L to R. 5) LS pan R to L with MIG-15 taking off. 6) ELS MIG-15 and the F-94C flying L to R. 7) LS pan R to L with two F-86D's taxiing. Camera backs up picks up two more taxis with same. 8) LS GC two F-86's passing overhead R to L. 9) LS pan R to L with MIG-15 coming in for landing. 10) MS pilot climbing into cockpit of MIG-15. 11) MS running toward MIG-15, pilot climbing into aircraft, scene is repeated several times. Flightline man leaves scene with ladder, returns, places ladder on side of aircraft, pilot prepares to get out of same. 12) CU pilot approaches MIG-15 cockpit and assisted by flight~line personnel, canopy closes on MIG-15 cockpit, open, closes. Man with ladder reappears in scene at right replacing ladder beside aircraft, pilot gets out of same. 13) MS MIG-15 stationary. Pilot and crew chief run into scene from right, crew chief takes ladder, pilot gets into cockpit, closes canopy on same. (This is repeated several times.) Reel 4: 1) LS GC MIG-15 taking off very quickly. Camera pans with same as it goes into a steep climb, passing out of frame to left. SLATE DATE: 21 FEBRUARY 54. TAKE OFF OF MIG. CAMERAMAN: ALWOOD. 2) LS GC pan R to L MIG-15 and F-86D flying overhead. 3) ELS GC pan R to L MIG-15 coming in for landing. 4) MS high angle 3/4 RV MIG-15 aircraft stationary. Pilot runing to same, climbs into cockpit, assisted by flight line crew chief who takes ladder away from side of aircraft and exits out of scene to left. 5) CU same scene description. Several repeats of this action. Reel 5: l) LS GC pan R to L, MIG-15 making fly by over field very low, pulling up into a steep climb. 2) LS GC MIG-15 coming in for landing. 3) LS an F-86 coming in R to L followed by F-94C. 4) CU Russian Insignia on side of aircraft. 5) CU machine gun ports on Russian MIG-15 covered. 6) CU intake on exhaust MIG-15. 7) CU tail section of MIG-15, Russian insignias on same. SLATE: CAMERAMAN: KLINE. 21 FEBRUARY 54. 8) LS GC pan R to L, MIG-15 coming in for landing, passing out of scene to left. 9) CU side of MIG-15 canopy, open ladder on same, pilot comes into scene from left climbs into same, followed by crew chief who removes ladder from MIG-15 and steps out of scene to left. Canopy closes on MIG-15, This action is repeated several times from different angles. Reel 6: SLATE: 24 FEBRUARY 54. LOCATION: PAFB, DAYTON, OHIO. REMARKS: MIG-15. CAMERAMAN: MASCELLI. 1) MS tow truck towing a MIG-15 with the PT-6l6 nomenclature Nos. and US insignia on same. 2) Several views of MIG-15 as it is towed about on flight line. 3) Series of shots showing pilot climbing into cockpit of MIG-15, closing canopy, getting out of cockpit of MIG-15, bg F-86's. 4) CU nose section MIG-15 showing intakes. 5) Several identification shots of MIG-15 tai1 section etc. 6) CU pilot, "Tom" Collins, looking at camera, laughing. 7) Several views of pilot, "Tom" Collins, standing beside MIG-15. Capt. Collins prepares to board aircraft, being assisted by flight line personnel. SLATE: 24 FEB 54. REMARKS: VARIOUS SHOTS OF MIG FOR T.V. RELEASE. WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE. 8) LS MIG-15 is towed out of hangar at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, fg cameraman end press. photographing and taking notes respectively. Several views as it is towed along flight line for press photographers, other aircraft in bg. C-47, F-94's, T-33's, F-84's and F-86's. 9) LS MIG-15 is taxiing L to R, camera pans with same. 10) LS pan R to L MIG-15 taxis and takes off. 11) MLS MIG-15 makes fly by, camera pans with same, R to L. 12) ELS MIG-15 comes in for landing, comes into a MLS as it taxis in after landing, R to L. followed by an F-86 chase plane.
