Summary: (Photo'd by Convair). Reel 1: Film reviews the progress of Project Atlas (XSM-65) up to 1 January 1955 and then continues by giving a pictorial report for the first quarter on the research program, production planning, development of component parts, laboratory and field testing, and the planning and expansion of missile system development site and laboratories. Included are scenes of a full-scale mockup experimental missile giving full data -- ETV Engine Test Vehicle, hydrogen-oxygen wind tunnel test for velocity and heat, and other heat tests for the nose-cone warhead. Fabrication scenes and tests conducted at Point Loma. Good (Basic: Mas color)
