Summary: B/52/X-15 take-off, in flight, chase planes, the X-15 drop, in flight, landing, the entering of support vehicles in scene and the lone B-52 in flight. ELS, G/A, B-52, with X-15, in flight before X-15 drops. X-15 drops from wing of mother ship, starts its powered flight R/L leaving contrails. 166' ELS, X-15 jettisons tail fin as it approaches and lands L/R, passes smoke mark and comes to a stop. Helicopter lands to left of X-15. Support and emergency vehicles arrive on scene also fire truck, crewmen run to plane. Above footage shot with tracking camera, M-45 mount, with 48" lens. 333' Leader. 339' ELS, G/A, B-52, with X-15, in flight before dropping X-15. X-15 drops from wing of mother ship, starts its powered flight R/L. Chase plane fly after X-15. 517' ELS, jettison of tail fin, frame X-15 as it comes in for landing L/R. Chase plane to left of frame then flys out. Helicopter to right as X-15 approaches smoke mark. Support, emergency vehicles and fire truck arrive on scene.
