Summary: Coverage of airlift of relief supplies, equipment and US Army personnel by C-130's and C-124's to Iran after the earthquake of 1 September 1962. Shows loading and offloading operations, Iranian people building new homes and ruins from earthquake. Reel 1: 1) MS's of C-130 with auxiliary fuel tank taking off from Ramstein, Germany, with LS of GCA vans -- azimuth antenna in operation. 2) Series of shots of supplies being loaded and US Army personnel of the 7th Army including a medic boarding and interior scenes as bags are loaded onto C-130 of the 322d Air Div. 3) Scenes of tent poles being loaded into C-130.
