A-1E MISSION IN SOUTHEAST ASIA Part 2

Description

Covers target spotting/air strike missions by A-1E's of the 602nd Fighter Sqdn, and return of aircraft after strike. (Shot list to follow.) 1) Camouflaged A-1E taxiing to dearmament area, load team downloading wing guns and aircraft taxiing to ramp. 2) Pilots leaving camouflaged -1E's and entering P.E. shed. 3) Camouflaged A-1E taxiing and taking off, and takeoff run as seen from A-1E. 4) AMS's of camouflaged A-1E in flight to left. 5) AV's of target spotting rockets being fired, and smoke from hits in jungle as seen from firing aircraft. 6) Approach, landing and taxi in as seen from A-1E cockpit. 7) Pilot making entries in flight log.
