Coverage of activities during USAF phase-out of French Air Bases, including movement of safes, cabinets and other classified material from Chateauroux to High Wycombe aboard C-130E; RF-4C Squadron leaving Toul Rosiere and their equipment being loaded into C-141A; and 2nd Mobile Communications Group personnel packing GCA vans at Toul Rosiere for movement to Sembach AB, Germany. Reel 1: 1) Palletized safes, file cabinets and other classified material being loaded aboard C-130E. 2) Classified boxes and cabinets being unloaded from C-130E and placed aboard trailer truck. 3) Heavy cabinets being hoisted from building at Chateauroux and placed on truck. 4) Safes being removed from truck and moved into building. 5) Palletized safes being loaded into C-130E at Chateauroux. 739': Total footage in reel. Reel 3: 1) C-141A taxiing to flight line behind signaling ground officer, then crew debarking as aircraft is secured. 2) Lockers, file cabinets and equipment chests being loaded onto C-141A from truck. 3) Camouflaged RF-4C on hardstand, chocks being pulled, engine started, APU unhooked. 4) Camouflaged RF-4Cs taxiing from hardstands to runway. 5) LS camouflaged RF-4Cs taking off to left. 690 Total footage in reel. Reel 5: 1) Sign at main gate: WELCOME--TOUL ROSIERE AIR BASE. 2) CU and LS of AP signaling traffic through gate. 3) LS high angle, C-141A taxiing from runway toward flight line and then being loaded with equipment (taken from cherry picker). 4) CUs of maintenance equipment being loaded onto C-141A, then clamshell cargo doors closing. 5) CU Military Air Command insignia and US flag on tail. 6) LS high angle, camouflaged RF-4Cs taxiing from hardstands to runway, then taking off to left. 648': Total footage in reel.
