Description

Covers interview with SSgt Elwood M. Beam, flight engineer, and Sgt James A. Hedderly, AAVS cameraman, who were aboard an HH-3E that crashed nine days earlier seriously injuring the rest of the crew. The survivors spent three nights and two days in enemy territory before rescue. NOTE: 1/4 inch Magnetic tape has the two NCO's describing the event. 1) SSgt Beam and Sgt Hedderly standing beside HH-3E and talking. 2) HH-3E taxiing. 3) MCU low angle of HH-3E rotor turning.
