Description

Covers tests of Fulton personnel recovery system. 1) Airman on ground opening recovery gear container, unpacking gear, inflating balloon and playing out line. 2) Airman in recovery harness being jerked from ground. 3) Recovery yoke on nose of C-130E and ground tests of yoke lock. 4) C-130E snagging recovery line as seen from ground and from cockpit of recovery aircraft. 5) Airmen in rear of C-130E preparing for recovery and then reeling in airmen during recovery operation. 6) Recovered airman unharnessing himself, debarking C-130E, being congratulated and given champagne and presented with "hook" medallion.
