Shows day and night scenes of forest fires near Running Springs, and in Lytle Creek Canyon. Includes scenes of volunteer USAF fire fighters eating, resting, then moving out to fire lines. REEL 1: ROLL: R30C-l 1) Series of scenes of USAF and civilian fire fighters eating at outside tables, resting in sleeping bags, and preparing to return to fire line. ROLL: R30C-2 2) USAF volunteers boarding army trucks and moving out of base camp. 3) CU of operator inside Military Affiliate Radio System (MARS) van. ROLL: R30C-3 4) CU of USAF Disaster Response Force carryall, with man at door talking on radio. 5) Series of scenes at dusk, showing forest fire burning and heavy smoke rising (Lytle Creek Canyon fire).
