Description

Shows through short segment examples and differences between East/West. Moslems at prayer; Arabs being entertained in the Medina and Arab salutations. Also seen are Americans in their daily work and recreational activities. 1) Sequence shows Moslems at prayer--inside a mosque and in a village center. 2) Shows Arabs gathering in a circle inside the Medina and being entertained by dancers. 3) Sequence shows Eastern custom of greetings among males, handshake and kiss on each cheek. 4) Segment showing foreign students' activities in the US. Shows students at study, and at a downtown outdoor cafe--also shown is an animated version of what a foreign student might be thinking about, such as: cars, girls, and liquor. 5) Shows short clip of simulated arrest and booking of a foreign student by civilian police. 6) Sequence of American scenes and activities showing: family sightseeing in a park, business men at work, and an animated version of American salutations--includes backslap. 7) MS Saudi Arabian Airlines 707 taxiing near civilian terminal ramp area--also shows taxiing as seen from 707 cockpit. 274' Total footage in reel.
