This video recording presents a report about the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) ship, Mt. Mitchell, whose mission was to evaluate the environmental damage to the gulf that resulted from the Persian Gulf War. The six-month cruise included 170 scientists from the U.S., Europe, and the nations of the Persian Gulf.
