Description

Documentary: On an experiment by the office of Economic Opportunity Community Action Program in Cooks County, Ill., to teach preschool children language skills through "project breakthrough." Through a talking typewriter each child is able to relate words to pictures and increase his communicative skills. The director and originator of the project explains how the program provides a valuable learning experience for the disadvantaged child.
