1) CU SC-1 mounted on a catapult, ready to take off, South Dakota class BB seen BG.2) MS SCs are launched-SV.3) CU 40mm gun crew manning their guns, suddenly turn & look at the microphone loudspeaker as it announces V-J day, hilarity runs over the crew.4) CU Men laughing & shouting & yelling.5) MS SC-1 as it comes upon the landing sled.6) HS SC-1 on the towingsled being lifted on to the deck, engine is stopped.7) LS Part of the task force underway, CV & two CVLs are seen BG (OX).8) GV USS ATLANTA looking aft from the bow toward the stern.9) CU 40mm gun crews hears the news of the Japanese surrender, hats go off & up in the air.10) MS SC-1 lands in the slick & slides up on the landing sled.QUALITY: FAIR TO GOOD
