1) GV Hangar deck on USS Wasp; work is being done to convert it into troop carrier (SV).2) MCU Looking across steel plating; hangar deck; workman in bg.3) MCU DA Work on hangar deck during conversion4) CU DA Cutting steel plates.5) CU DA Construction work going on.6) MCU Material stacked on elevator during construction of the Wasp.7) GV MCU Installation of wash bowls (SV).8) MCU DA Head and washroom facilities being welded to side of ship.9) MCU UA Steel plate being hoisted.10) GV Looking down dock showing crane and carrier.11) GV Looking down side of carrier; cranes on deck.12) MCU UA Head and washroom facilities installed on stern of the Wasp.13) MCU Alrcraft engine being hoisted out of elevator shaft and swung onto dock; Europa in bg.14) MCU DA Large stack of bed springs.15) CU Aircraft engine being hoisted from elevator shaft on carrier and swung onto dock.16) MCU UA Load of materiel being swung onto flight deck USS Wasp.17) CU DA Materiel being swung onto flight deck of the CV-18.18) CU DA Hangar deck during reconversion; bunk racks being installed, bg.QUALITY: GOOD
