MOFFETT drives golden rivet into the Akron structure.3) MS GV Raising of first framework of USS AKRON (SV).4) LS GV US flag hanging in center of large framework which is part of USS AKRON.5) MS Raising of second frame into place (SV).6) MS PAN UA Framework of USS AKRON.7) MS DA Gas bag of 1, 000, 000 cubic feet being installed in framework of USS AKRON (SV).8) LS GV Framework of USS AKRON almost complete.9) MS DA Nose of USS AKRON being completed and raised to proper position (SV).10) MS GV Dura aluminum skeleton of USS AKRON nearing completion.11) LS GV Tail section of USS AKRON being put into place (SV).12) MS DA A big 550 horse-power engine is brought in on engine stand.13) MCU US Propeller on engine of USS AKRON is tilted downward so as to bring ship down to ground during landing (SV).14) MCU PAN Fabric of ship is put on, beginning at the nose of the ship (SV).15) MS PAN Alongside the dirigible which has been covered with fabric.16) MS Large gas bag centered in the USS AKRON.
