Description

1) HA MS Men facing outboard on undt. cruiser saluting. G2) CU PAN Men at qtrs. at ranks on the weather deck. G3) MS Casket being transferred via high-line from the cruiser to camera ship; PAN with the casket. G4) HA CU Casket being lowered on deck of the cruiser. G5) HA CU Pall bearers (enl"d men) standing on either side of the casket and saluting. G6) HA CU Pall bearers pick up the casket and walk across the deck followed by a marine officer (SV). G7) MS Flag drapped casket being carried to the after weather deck of the undt. cruiser; flags, marine naval and us are being held by the marines. G8) LA CU Large group of photographers, military and civilian taking pictures as they sit forward of one of the terrier launchers. G9) MCUtoMS Three caskets sitting on deck of the cruiser guarded by marines (SV). G10) MS Officers and guest sitting in chairs on the after deck during the ceremony. G11) LA MCU High ranking naval officers standing next to the roster; men of the various services standing in bg holding their respective unit flags (army, navy, air force, and marine corps). G12) MS Enl"d man carrying a large red wreath with a white star in the center of it, places it in front of one of the caskets; the man steps back and salutes. G13) MS Chief petty officers in whites singing as they stand behind the caskets; the flags from the services flying in the breeze. G14) HA CU Group of men standing at ease by one of the casket which is about to be buried at sea. G15) CU Navy band playing during ceremony. G16) HA MS Over the heads of the officers and enl"d men toward the chaplain as he reads the services. G17) HA CU Between the men with heads bowed; Adm. Jerald Wright standing next to the life line. G18) HA MS Body of one of the unknowns being buried at sea. G19) HA CU Over the heads of the five marines firing the vollies out over the sides with rifles in honor of the man buried. G20) HA CU Bugler blowing taps as he stands next to the marines. G21) HA MS Men folding flag which was drapped over the unknown soldier. G22) CU Undt. adm. shaking hands with the man from michigan who selected the two unknown soldiers from world war ii and korea; water in the bg as the ship is underway at sea. GQUALITY
