USS TRITON (SSRN-586) Part 1

Description

1) MCU Baker opening oven door, ram eves pan containing three leaves of bread; second pan placed in oven, door is closed.2) MCU Freshly baked bread on table; baker, BG, unleads more bread on table to cool. VG3) CU Bread cooling on table; baker, BG, dumps additional leaves on table from pan. G4) CU Bread cooling on table. G5) CU Sealed ship oxygen candle (during sealed ship teats, oxygen content of atmosphere was maintained by burning special candles); officer & crewmember stand next to candle. G6) CU Crewmember opens sealed cans, removes top lid, places can to one side. GtoF7) CU Man denning asbestos gloves, hauls trash can to one side, opens exygon candle door, lowers tube, dumps ash of candle in can; officer looks on; tube replaced in original position as new candles are dumped from containers; second candle is dumped into canister tube.8) CU Two fresh candles in canister, which is pushed in place in instrument & sealed shut. G9) ECU Candle ignited at top. G10) CU Engine room *1; CHIEF LIGHTNER checks guage board on *2 turbo generater. GtoF11) CU Chief with clipbeard, checking guage beard in engine room *1; he jots down information on beard (SV). GtoF12) ECU Same as scene (10); he stops, listens to CAPT BEACM"s announcement of world cruise on second day out, returns to checking guage board.13) ECU Same as before (SV). G14) ECU Chief in engine room *1. NG15) CU CAPT BEACH viewing through eye piece on periscope while he has con in Negelian Bay, viewing end of Mactau Island, Philippines, where Magellan was killed; he folds scope arms, it is lowered.16) CU Captain reaches for arms of scope as it is raised, he looks through eye piece, turns scope around, scope is lowered; navigator takes tangent points on lighthouse. G
