Description

1) MLS USS CURRENT (ARS-22) in a two point moor to salvage the sunken Japanese midget sub that participated in the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor.2) MCU Same. VG3) MS The EODU-1 (Explosive Ordnance Demolition Unit *1) boat getting in position to assist in salvage operations; photographer, in direct FG, snapping picture. G4) MS The USS CURRENT in the salvage area; camera boat moves around the bow of the CURRENT where the EODU-1 boat is at port quarter.5) CU The CURRENT in position to start operations. G13) LA MS Signal flags on the halyards. G14) HA MS Men assisting the deep sea diver to dress on the after deck of the CURRENT; scubba divers sit about. G15) MCU Deep sea diver being suited up. G16) CU Man placing helmet on head of diver.17) ECU The port is closed and locked on the helmet of the diver.18) HA MS The two deep sea divers going over on a diver"s stage on strbd side of the USS CURRENT.
