1) at Pearl Harbor1) MS Marines loading saluting batteries on the end of the pier; USS RANGER in bg; officer gives signal for firing the 17 gun salute. VG2) CU Lanyard being pulled; saluting battery fired; hot shell removed. G3) CU Marine officer giving order to fire saluting battery, he drops his hand. VG4) MS USS RANGER; SH-34G helicopter takes off from ship; PAN with the helicopter in flight. G5) CU Guests arriving at side of USS RANGER. G6) CU KIRK DOUGLAS greeted as he arrives at the side off USS RANGER. G7) CU UNDER SECNAV PAUL B. FAY, Jr. arriving. G8) CU PAN SECNAV FAY walking past the camera toward the brow. G9) CU GEN WALLACE M. GREEN, Jr., USMC, arriving. G10) CU GOV J. A. BURNS arriving.11) CU GOV BURNS walking past camera towards the brow. G12) CU ADM H. D. FELT arriving, stepping out of the limousine with MRS. FELT. G13) CU ADM U. S. G. SHARP debarking from the limousine after his arrival at side of USS RANGER.
