Description

1) Looking down over smoke billowing up from ground; explosions go off far below during bombing of railroad marshalling yards, storage sheds and bridge near Tach Luyen, No. Vietnam; attacking plane is from the USS CORAL SEA (CVA-43).2) Looking down over dark terrain below; some smoke hanging in lower part of scene.3) PAN, over marshalling yards and bridge. G to F4) Looking down over explosions in strike zone; PAN away from the strike area. F5) Explosions going off on railroad bridge in No. Vietnam; smoke is rising from strike area; more explosions go off from bombs; three explosions in center of scene among the smoke. G6) AtoA HA MLS A-4E of VA-155 making spotting run on Viet Cong position in jungle, near Pleiku, So. Vietnam; A-4E is lost out of scene at times and again is picked up flying low over the jungle and climbing steeply over hills.7) AtoG MS Explosion and smoke rising from jungle area from bomb drop on Viet Cong position; this is a delayed explosion delivered by the A-4E; PAN over the Viet Cong position. G8) AtoG MS Looking down over Viet Cong position in jungle; two 500 1b.8) CON"T bombs explode in the Viet Cong position below; smoke still rises to the right; PAN up away from the position. G9) AtoG Pilot"s eye view: Phuc Loi Naval Base, No. Vietnam; camera aircraft is from USS CORAL SEA and pilot is LTJG HYDE, USN; smoke rises from center target area from the first bombs already dropped; 2nd., 3rd. and 4th. sticks of bombs explode near this run; bombing runs are made by A-1H of VA-165. G10) AtoG CU Pilot"s eye view: Viet Cong Naval Base; PAN out over a rice paddie.11) AtoG MLS Pilot"s eye view: A-4E flying low over a roadway and rice paddies; three 1000 1b. bombs are dropped by the A-4E of VA-155 exploding in boat building section of base.12) AtoA LA MLS A-4E in flight over vietnam strike area, banking off to left; aircraft follows a roadway. G13) AtoA HA ELS A-4E in flight low over terrain in No. Vietnam; road leads thru center of scene; camera aircraft banks to the left very sharply. G14) AtoG LS Strike area, showing a USN aircraft flying low over strike area; a winding river is in midpart of scene; a bridge across a small canal off to right (jumpy) F15) AtoG MS Pilot"s eye view: Looking down over a small peninsula; PAN out over central part of the peninsula and out over water; plane continues in flight.
