Description

1) AtoA HA LS A-1H aircraft in flight over target area; explosion goes off at left FG as A-1H leaves scene at top; smoke rises from jungle next to canal; pull out from area by camera aircraft; wide river seen at right on pull out. VG2) AtoG MS Bank to left over wide river showing A-1H aircraft flying over target area, aircraft pulls out; no ordnance on this run. VG3) AtoA HA LS A-1H diving on target area over jungle, pulling out; camera aircraft also pulls up; no ordnance seen in this scene. G4) AtoG MLS Bank to left over target area, believed to be scenes taken by LCDR HARMON of A-1H aircraft bombing Viet Cong positions 17 miles east of Can Tho; explosion goes off in wooded area below as camera aircraft pulls up. G5) AtoG MS Bank to left over target zone, smoke hangs over wooded area directly below; A-1H aircraft seen flying in BG; another explosion goes off next to smoke in mid FG. G6) AtoA HA LS A-1H flying over river, banking to left toward Viet Cong position; camera aircraft pulls up and out of scene at top; no ordnance in this scene. G7) AtoA HA MLS Bank to left with A-1H aircraft flying ahead of camera aircraft over river and lost out of scene at top; camera aircraft PANS over jungle; no ordnance seen used on this run. G8) AtoG MS Looking down over jungle area showing black smoke rising from woods from previous hit; tracers seen heading down toward area and then pull out from area. VG9) Ato G MS Bank to left over river, then over jungle area and small canal. (SV) G to F10) AtoA HA MS A-1H in flight over river, strafing as it moves in over jungle area, pull out showing contrails running from leading edge of wing as plane pullsup. G11) AtoG MCU Mast of the USS CORAL SEA (CVA-43) in FG as camera aircraft turns back to ship. F to P12) AtoA MLS A-4E aircraft of VA-155 in flight over target, plane is lost out of scene at top; camera aircraft banks to left showing winding river in center part of scene, continues banking, picking up A-4E aircraft again, flying down low over canal; camera aircraft pulls up slightly then A-4E pulls up over flat plain; no ordnance on this run. VG13) Camera aircraft pulls up into clouds, banks slowly to left.14) MLS Bank to left over strike area showing area below very green; white floating clouds drifting over terrain, thin narrow canal seen in left lower part of frame; camera aircraft straightens out. G15) AtoG MS Looking down over strike area showing canal lined with heavy foliage and jungle on both sides; A-4E seen flying far ahead and over plain; explosion goes off in lower part of scene as though from napalm drop; camera aircraft pulls up leaving explosion; flat open plain seen ahead.
