"A" BOMB BLAST Part 1
Description
1) AtoG LS Looking down over several ships at anchor, grouped in a small area; small broken clouds are below; a tremendous underwater explosion occurs throwing a shock wave which forms into a huge round white cloud, grey smoke curling up in its center; lower clouds around the area dissipate, showing the tremendous mushroom cloud hanging over the ships; a very large trunk to the bomb blast extends down into the water; many ships are surrounding the blast area (this is no doubt the Bikini Atoll bomb blast); a tremendous cloud seems to hang motionless. Ex.2) ELS Night view of the Atomic blast going off; the entire area is lit up as bright as noon on a sunny day; a dark cloud layer forms at the top; area of the explosion seems to fan out horizontally; a fireball protrudes up thru the flat layer of clouds; the entire area is again black except for the fireball at the bottom of scene. VG3) ELS Looking out over water at part of a desert; a tremendous blast goes off in the far BG, showing the fireball momentarily and the entire area is again black in this scene. G4) LS Looking out over desert floor; mountains are in far BG; the entire area is obscured by the brightness as the blast goes off in far BG; a circular ring of smoke covers the ground area; the fireball and smoke churns upward. VG5) GtoA MS Looking up towards the top part of the mushroom cloud still rising slowly. VG6) LA MS Top part of the mushroom cloud from blast; much activity is at the right of cloud moving outward. G7) GtoA MLS Dissipating clouds from the Atom blast mingled in with several of the natural clouds. G8) LS Smoke hanging over the ground "O" area on the desert.9) ELS Looking out over desert with cactus in FG, mountains in far BG; area becomes extremely white from the blast which dissipates quickly; the fireball is seen churning up from ground "O" in distant BG, turning into a black fireball, moving quickly skyward; tremendous area of dust cloud hangs on desert floor; mushroom continues churning from the top down and underneath; large cactus is framed in FG; mushroom cloud continues climbing. Ex.10) GtoA MLS Looking up towards the mushroom cloud still churning. VG11) LS Cloud extended from the ground "O" area up to its peak, with a cactus framed in FG. VG12) GtoA MS Overall view of the top portion of mushroom cloud still having much movement and beginning to drift off to the right. VG
