AIR STRIKE-SOUTH VIET NAM Part 1

Description

1) AtoA HA MLS F-8E in flight low over the jungle, flying in on the strike; plane banks to the right and heads down towards the jungle growth; smoke is rising from area in FG; short strafing run is made by the F-8E. G2) AtoA MLS Silhouette view of the F-8E in flight; plane banks to left over the edge of jungle; plane flies very low firing two rockets; rockets explode in a clump of brush; plane leaves the scene off to the left. VG3) AtoG MS PAN F-8E in flight firing rockets; PAN, showing rockets exploding on ground; F-8E pulls up over the flat farm land. G4) AtoA LS F-8E in flight over strike area; F-8E dives in for its attack firing two rockets, followed by more rockets; rockets explode at the row of trees at the edge of a clearing; plane then pulls up. G5) AtoA LS F-8E in flight high above the broken clouds; PAN with aircraft diving on its attack, firing two rockets near the row of trees; smoke comes up from the trees from the explosion. G6) AtoA MLS F-8E in flight flying ahead and below the camera aircraft; plane moves in on its run firing one ZUNI rocket which explodes up ahead; F-8E pulls up; PAN on around to the right showing smoke from the explosion. G to F7) AtoA MLS Silhouette view of the F-8E in flight in strike area; PAN with F-8E moving in on its run; plane moves into a diving attitude and fires two rockets which explode on the ground below; F-8E pulls up. VG8) AtoA MLS F-8E in flight; PAN with the aircraft as it moves in firing tracers strafing the area of Viet Cong structures in the coconut grove; the striking aircraft pulls up. G9) AtoA MLS A-4E in flight over strike zone, flying over the ridge of mountains, diving in on the attack; fires are burning in the BG; Napalm bomb is dropped by the A-4E, tumbles to the ground and explodes in a ball of flame on the suspected Viet Cong troops and huts on the ridge at base of mountain. VG10) AtoA LS A-4E in flight; PAN with aircraft flying in over the mountain ridges, diving in on the attack, moving in towards the same area; smoke is still rising from the area in BG; another Napalm is dropped from the A-4E tumbling to the ground and exploding in a ball of flame among the trees; pull up from the heavy smoke coming up from the ground.
