Description

1) LA CU Looking up towards an F-8E on the catapult, Sidewinder Missile aboard; part of the island is in left BG. F2) LA MCU RF-8A being moved onto the *1 cat. G3) LA CU Nose area and the cockpit of the RF-8A, the pilot in the cockpit; plane is launched out of scene; A-1H is in the BG on *2 cat ready for launch; steam comes on down the *1 cat, cat crew moves the bridle back to the head of the cat; an A-4E type aircraft taxies in from BG. G4) LA CU A-4E being moved onto cat with bombs aboard.5) LA MS A-4E being moved onto *2 cat; a nose of an A-4E is in the upper left part of the scene. G6) MLS Cat officer giving a launch signal, A-4E is launched out of scene from *2 cat; cat officer turns around and faces the camera, gives a rev up signal with his left hand, then the launch signal; PAN, to the A-4E in direct FG launched out of the scene for an ECU.7) LA ECU A-4E type aircraft being moved onto the cat; cat crew is around the aircraft.8) MCU Men working with the bridle under the A-4E; zoom back slightly from the A-4E. G9) LA CU Looking up towards the cockpit area of the A-4E; second A-4E is moving onto the *2 cat in right BG; several flight deck crews are on the middle of the deck in BG; plane is launched in left FG, steam passing thru the scene obscuring much of the operations in BG; the cat officer is in right BG; zoom in towards the cat officer giving a rev up signal; green shirt stands to his left; launch signal is given; PAN, showing the A-4E being launched out of scene. G10) MCU Men working in the catwalk, one of the men is the catapult console operator; A-4E is launched and is airborne. G11) LA MCU A-3B spreading its wings on the flight deck. VG12) LA CU A-3B. F13) LA MS PAN A-3B taking a wave-off over the deck. VG14) LA MS A-3B touching down, making an arrested landing; PAN, showing the tail section of aircraft; aircraft slips back slightly leaving the arresting wire on deck. G15) MS A-3B folding its wings after the landing. G16) CU A-3B being pushed backwards by the tractor using a towbar. G17) ECU A-3B being respotted by the tractor.
