Description

1) MCU Pallet containing three flag-draped bodies being lowered to pier, two chaplains standing by in BG; Marine Honor Guard in two ranks, like sideboys, C-130 in BG. (NG. very badly out of frame at top.2) CU Four Navy Honor Guards carrying body toward camera enroute to C-130. VG3) MS Marine Honor Guard on pier, ship in BG, deck-edge elevator lowered, ship"s crane begins lowering more bodies on pallet from elevator toward the pier. G4) LS Bodies on pallet arriving at pier, Marine Guard comes to attention. G5) LS Down between two rows of Marines, two chaplains leading procession, approach in far BG, Marines come to present arms as the chaplains and men carrying bodies move toward aircraft; PAN to left, four Navy Honor Guards carrying bodies up ramp, two chaplains move toward right in FG, then move toward BG, followed by two more chaplains; empty pallet is hoisted up back toward the deck edge elevator in BG. VG6) CU Marine corporal, one of the Honor Guard at attention, procession again arrives in BG, corporal comes to salute in FG, four Navy Honor Guard carry another flag-draped body toward left enroute to C-130. second group comes to FG with another body. G7) CU Corporal at the salute, Navy Honor Guard passes by in BG with flag-draped body, two chaplains pass by in mid BG. VG8) LA MS Two chaplains preceeding the Navy Guard with the flag-draped body, chaplain steps off toward left, blesses the body as it passes by, men move up ramp into C-130, island structure of the USS ORISKANY (CVA-34) in mid BG at pier, Honor Guard moves out of scene at left, four more of the Honor Guard carry another body up ramp. G9) CU Two Marines at the salute, bodies are carried by in far BG en route to C-130. G10) LA MS Two chaplains leading procession to aircraft as Marine Honor Guard comes to present arms. G11) LA MS Men on deck edge elevator at salute. G to F12) CU Four Navy Honor Guard carrying flag-draped body to FG. G13) MS Four chaplains, CAPTAIN IARROBINO, CO of the ORISKANY, and other officers moving toward right toward ship, Marine Guard marching off in BG. G14) MS C-130 with loading ramp closing at rear of aircraft after taking bodies aboard for flight to United States. G15) MLS C-130 taxiing from parking area en route to the runway. G16) CU US Air Force C-130E taxiing off toward left to runway with the bodies aboard.17) CU Crane hook lowered over side of the deck edge elevator, men on deck edge elevator in dungarees. F18) CU Chaplains preceeding procession with bodies, moving past the Marine Honor Guards on route to aircraft. G to F19) CU Negro Marine at attention, one of the Honor Guard.20) CU Marine Honor Guard at attention.21) MS C-130E USAF, parked with the tail end of plane facing ship as bodies are loaded aboard the aircraft for flight the U. G32) HA MS Two chaplains preceeding Honor Guard with body en route to aircraft, they pass down line between Marine Honor Guards at present arms; PAN up with the group arriving at ramp of aircraft.
