Description

1) HA General view of firefighters spraying water on smoldering aircraft aft on theflight deck, DD is seen along the port quarter. Fire contained in the small area aft; PAN to the right of many aircraft parked forward in the safety area. CH-53A, coming in and touching down on the flight deck, most of the men run toward the side of the aircraft; PAN back to the UN-2A landing; PAN further to the left, of UH-2A hovering off the port side, later coming in to land on the deck; PAN to the right to CH-53A taking off; PAN to the left of the DC crew fighting the fire aft along the remaining burning aircraft. View of the DD pulling away from the ship's side, Carrier in silhouette in the FBG. Several men fighting the fire aft, smoke rises the aircraft, drifting aft over the ship's stern; PAN to the right to an RA-5C parked on the lower FG, next to a E-24.
