Description

1) CU President Johnson and party coming out of the Island structure onto the flight deck for the Memorial service to be held on the flight deck, Time is 0630, Nov. 11, 1967; The President scoffs, puts his hands behind him, then along his side, the sun appears to be in his face. A Naval Aide steps up to the side of the President, the President stands at attention, the President then removes his glasses and puts them in his pocket. Zoom back slightly from the President and the Officers. VG. 2) MS The President facing the Marine Color Guard, Podium in the MFG, part of the Island seen off to the right, Chaplain steps up to the Podium to give the Invocation, Zoom in toward the Chaplain at the Podium, President Johnson, Naval Officers off to the right with heads bowed; G. 3) CU Three quarter front view of the Chaplain at the Podium, Presidential Seal seen on the front of the Podium, PAN off to the right to Mr. Johnson with his head bowed, Navy Capt. standing off to his right. Mr. Johnson reaches into his pocket to get his glasses as ADM MOORER, CNO walks in the FG towards the Podium to the left; G. 4) CU Three quarter front view of ADM MOORER giving his remarks from the Podium, Two men in civilian clothes seen in the BG believed to Secret Service. ADM MOORER completes his remarks walks up to the right, Pres. Johnson steps up to the Rostrum to give a talk to the Officers and men of the ENTERPPISE regarding the MEMORIAL Services. Zoom in for an ECU of Mr. Johnson, this of course is the Services for Veterans Day. Zoom back slightly from the President showing the Presidential Seal on the front of the Rostrum; Officers and civilians are seen standing in the BG; G. 5) MS Three quarter front view of the President at the Rostrum giving his remarks for Veterans Day Memorial Service.
