Description

1) MS Arrival of a military ambulance, with men in a sandbag bunker in FG looking on; the ambulance stops in right BG. G 2) CU Ambulance pulling into main gate of Tan Son Nhut Air Force Base. G 3) MS Men standing around a jeep in base area. G 4) CU Military ambulance underway down road on base. 5) CU Sgt. briefing men. G 6) CU Men on patrol, jeep arrives with more men; second jeep enters scene from left, stopping. G 7) ELS Circular ring of smoke high in air over heliport. 8) MS Vietnamese soldiers off-loading food cartons from a UH-1B, walking to the far BG. 9) CU Vietnamese soldiers working with supplies on rear of truck, walking off and loading ammo aboard the UH-1B. G 10) CU Troops loading the boxes of ammo into 'copter (SV).11) MS 'Copter, rotors engaged; men complete loading the 'copter. G 12) CU 'Copter lifting off with load of ammo; M-60 Machine guns hang from the sides of 'copter at waist hatch. VG 13) Night Scene Lights on in various areas at Tan Son Nhut; explosion goes off in far BG, believed to be a bomb burst; area is completely dark. G 14) LA MS String of lights. G 15) LALS Flare up in sky, lights in FG. G 16) LA MLS Three flares in sky, three lights in lower BG; another bomb goes off in far BG. G 17) LA MS Two flares in sky, another bomb burst goes off in left far BG. G 18) MS String of five lights, more coming in from right, believe to be 'copters coming in; these are troop carrying 'copters passing the flares and landing off to left. G 19) LA LS Flares burning in sky, another bomb burst goes off in far BG. G 20) LA MS More 'copters coming from right, moving off to left for landing; flares burning in sky in upper BG; PAN, showing more flares burning in sky, lightening up the targets. G 21) LA MLS Two flares burning in sky, five lights are in the right BG. G 22) LA MS Flare burning in sky in upper right part of scene; three lights are in lower part of scene. 23) MS CH-47A taking off in mid BG, two VC lying in grass in FG; heavy smoke is rising from area in far BG. G 38) MCU Communist ordnance being picked up from ground, put into jeep; dead VC is lying off to right near jeep. 39) CU Some of the ordnance laying in trailer. G 40) CU Sign: "Explosive Ordnance Desposal" on rear of trailer; PAN to a dead VC lying on his stomach.
