Description

1) HA-MLS Looking down over the TAN SON NHUT 'copter parking area, several troopers are seen walking off to left past some UH-1B gun a/c. 2) HA-LS Single file of troopers walking across the parking area, many buildings seen in the BG; CH-47A 'copter seen in the FBG. G 3) HA-LS Troopers walking along, positioning themselves along the fence line. G 4) HA-MLS Troops moving in and around the UH-1B rebutment parking area. G 5) HA-MS Looking down over some of the troops armed walking down below the camers position over the parking area. G 6) LA-MS CH-47A USA 'copter coming in for a landing. G 7) LS CH-47A touching down beyond some of the UH-1B 'copters. G 8) HA-MS Front view of a UH-1B, the MEDIVAC 'copter, flying very low over a parking area. G 9) HA-MS Front view of the UH-1B touching down near two ambulances, Medics move out towards the side of the 'copter, to off load wounded. G 10) HA-MS Men alongside the 'copter, walking wounded gets out of the 'copter; second man is carried on a stretcher from the 'copter; Medics carry the wounded on a stretcher putting him into the rear of the ambulance in the FG. G 12) MS PAN to the right of an UH- 1B taking off from TAN SON NHUT, buildings are framed in the BG on the PAN; gun a/c takes off for another strike on the VC position around Saigon. G 13) LS PAN view of A-1H making bombing runs on the VC positions at the end runway at TAN SON NHUT, a/c is in a driving run; smoke comes up from the ground, a/c pulls up; banks on around. G 14) LA-LS Silhouette view of buildings with heavy smoke framed in the BG. 15) LA-LS String of UH-1B 'copters coming in for a landing framed by the head of a trooper in the FG. G 16) LA-LS Tower on the base, heavy smoke is seen in the FBG from the bomb hits. G 17) LS Smoke and fire rising from the field in the FBG. G 18) LA-LS A-1H making a bombing run, fires are burning in the FBG. G 19) LS Tracers striking near the tower as black smoke rises from the two areas in the FBG. 20) LA- LS A-1H making a bombing run; PAN on down to the ground showing large ball of fire and smoke rising from the ground in the FBG, some buildings of the base are seen in the FG. 21) HA-LS Fire burning in the FBG. 22) LA-LS Tracers heading towards the tower from the FBG around the heavy columns of black smoke, CH-47A CHINOOK 'copter is seen flying in the MBG, another explosion goes off in the BG. G 23) LS Fires burning at the end of the TAN SON NHUT runway. G 24) ELS Evening scene, columns of black smoke rising from the FBG, base tower in the MBG. SV 25) HA-MS Looking down over the 'copter landing a TAN SON NHUT, taken at night. G 26) MCU UH-1B 'copter coming in for a landing in the DFG, supplies are seen in the 'copter. G 27) CU Crewmen off loading ammo brought in from the outside of TAN SON NHUT; long wooden boxs of ammo are carried off to the right. SV F 28) MCU Side view of UH-1B with its lights on, rotor is engaged; 'copter lifts off, moves out of the scene to the left. F 29) HA-LS Lights of SAIGON and TAN SON NHUT on the horizon. G 30) LA-MS Tracers from the UH-1B gunships, streaking from the left off to the right as they fire on the VC position, flares burning in the sky in the upper BG in the darkness.G 31) MS Another string of tracers moving off to the right, flares burning in the upper BG; more tracers enter the scene from the left from the UH-1B gunships. 32) LA-MS Flare up in the sky lighting up the VC positions; PAN off to the left showing more tracers streaking through the scene from a gunship firing on the VC position. SV G 33) LA-LS Two flares burning in the sky, tracers are seen streaking through the scene from the gunship, two red lights seen moving through the sky; part of the running lights of the UH-1B. G 34) LA-MS Flare in the sky, gunship in the upper MBG firing tracers, red tracers seen streaking off to the right from the gunship. SV G 35) MLS Side view of UH-1B coming in for a landing, flare seen up in the sky. 36) LA-MLS Tracers streaking from the gunship in the upper BG in the darkness, flares burning in the sky drifting on down; more tarcers streak through the sky towards the VC positions from the gunships in flight. 37) LS Fire lighting up the sky at the far end of the runway.
