Description

1) MCU Front view of crew member, power cable over his L shoulder pulling it towards the camera position over the deck of the USS PHOEBE. GtoF 2) CU One man working with the power cable. 3) CU One of the crew attaching the power cable to the acoustic device MK 4 situated on a cradle at the deck edge. G 4) HA-CU Power cable inserted into the acoustic device; man secures the cable. G 5) HA-MCU Looking down over two men working, securing the cable to the acoustic device used during minesweeping, water seen passing by the ship. 6) HA-CU One man holding on to cable, second man using a wrench tightening collar that will keep the power cable secured to the acoustic device while under tow. GtoF 7) HA-MS Men deck preparing to launch one of the floats situated on a cradle along the deck edge, nickname for the float is a Pig. VG 8) HA-MS Men in life jackets and hard hats holding on to a steadying line, float is lifted over the side by the ship's boom; float is now hanging over the side.
