Pearl Harbor Part 2

Description

This film depicts Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in the spring of 1942, following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Troops are shown as they marched through streets and rode in a convoy of Army trucks, and two companies of men are seen as they marched while carrying blankets and backpacks. Naval personnel are shown as they stood and knelt at grave sites, a bugler is seen as he played taps at a cemetery, and a Navy chaplain is shown as he said silent prayers. Several Curtiss P-40 fighter aircraft are shown as they took off from Dillingham Field, and Col. James Roosevelt is seen as he stood at salute.
