Description

1) MS Men use temporary bridge consisting of 3 lines across stream-SV. 2) MS Men push gear across stream on temporary rafts. 3) CU Men are thrown into water. 4) CU Men using canvas raft to cross stream-SV. 5) CU Men throw each other out of raft, swamp raft. 6) MS-CU Men throw each other in stream. 7) MS Men cross temporary bridges, 1 made of 3 lines, the other of rattan construction; smoke pots burning below bridge. 8) CU Course signs for hand-to-hand combat training. 9) MS Man on improvised stretcher swung across gulley using traveling pulley & sling. 1O) CU-NS Men swim across stream pushing gear in small canvas raft. 11) CU Sign "Headquarters Unit, Jungle Training Center." 12) MS Men fire Lewis & Browning machine gun from hip-SV. 13) CU Men crossing rattan bridge, explosions in water below. 14) GV-Pan Judo class-SV. 15) MS Men practice technique of crossing barbed wire by having one man thrown across as a bridge. 16) MS Men climb six foot wire barricade-SV. 17) GV Judo class as men in tears try different holds. 18) MS-CU Men practice firing M-1 Garand rifle from hip-SV.
