1) MS Knocked out Japanese artillery position. 2) MS-CU Marine talks into microphone. 3) MS-CU Japanese prisoners of war drag Japanese dead from trenches and pillboxes. 4) MS Japanese dead placed in trench and sprayed with diesel oil. 5) MS-CU General Erskine and Admiral Turner-SV. 6) MS-CU Marine talks into microphone, sets of loud speakers mounted in background. 7) CU Loud speaker. 8) MS-CU Marine Corps photographer examines Japanese sign. 9) MS Messenger exits doorway of Division Message Center-SV. 10) MS Messenger enters weasel and drives off. 11) CU Man listens at telephone and writes on message pad. 12) CU Radio operator in a weasel-SV. 13) MS Radio operator in weasel gives message to runner. 14) MS-Pan Marines carry wounded marine on stretcher and load him aboard plane for air evacuation.
