Description

This film examines the advantages of using nuclear power to produce electricity, tests being conducted at Yucca Mountain to determine the suitability of the site to be used as a storage area for spent nuclear fuel rods, the environmental surveys conducted, and how nuclear waste would be transported to the site. The film also discusses the oversight role of the counties and the state of Nevada for the project, and how the public could obtain more information.
