The Veil of Venus Part 3
Description
The agency provided description reads as follows: Venus has sometimes been called Earth's twin, but the surface temperature is at least 796 degrees Fahrenheit with an atmospheric pressure about 90 times that on Earth. The Venus Pioneer probe and the USSR's Venera space mission provided some good information about the planet's atmosphere, surface, climate, and rotation. The dense, sulfuric atmosphere rendered the pioneer probe inoperative before it could reach the Venusian surface. The producers of this video are the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and John Bluck.
