Description

An immigrant from South Central Europe goes to Gary, Indiana, where he is employed by the Illinois Steel Co. of the U.S. Steel Corp. Consists mostly of demonstrations of safety devices used when working in a steel plant, on a railroad, and with machine tools. Includes views of Gary and its facilities for workers and their families.
