This military newsreel begins with Part 1: Sports football season openers -- Army v. TD (Technical Data) Command, Kentucky; Darthmouth v. Holy Cross; and Navy v. Villanova. Scenes of Army's win over TD Command, Holy Cross over Darthmouth, and Navy over Villanova. Part 2: Coast Guard's man requested a film showing Adolf Hitler performing the Lambeth Walk dance. Scenes for film. Part 3: People entered the Palace of Justice, Paris, to observe Marshal Henri Philippe Petain's trial for treason. Marshal Petain entered courtroom dressed in Marshal's uniform. Solicitor General Andre Mornet entered and questioned Marshal Petain. Former premiers Edouard Daladier and Paul Reynaud gave evidence. Pierre Laval testified as well.
