ON WAY—F.D.R.: WASHINGTON, D.C. - The President's State-of-the-Union message to Congress envisions U.S. forces fighting all over the world to defeat the common enemy of world freedom. Whatever the price Americans are willing to pay it, he declares! 2A/B/C/D/E/F. AMERICA'S ANSWER!: U.S.A. - America's answer is more planes, more tanks, more guns and more shells! The great auto plants, like General Motors, are already turning out war weapons and when completely re-tooled for war production will swamp the world! / SEATTLE, WA - Production of Boeing Flying Fortresses is well ahead of schedule. President Roosevelt's plea for 60,000 warplanes this year finds immediate response here, and in other plane plants! / HAWAII HONORS ITS WAR HEROES: HONOLULU, T.H. - American sailors who gave their lives in the sneak Jap raid on Pearl Harbor are honored at cemetery which is to become a National Shrine. The young men will help avenge "Pearl Harbor" and Wake Island! / JACK DEMPSEY OFFERS SERVICES: NEW YORK, NY - The "Manassas Mauler" offers his services to the Army and undergoes a medical exam. In tip-top shape, the former heavyweight champ will probably have his wish granted. Good luck! / BRAZIL NAVY CADETS GRADUATED: RIO DE JANEIRO - In colorful and symbolic exercises in the shadow of Sugar Loaf Mountain, young Brazilian cadets receive their commissions following review before Pres. Vargas. 3. GEN. ADOLF REVIEWS HIS TROOPS: By Intuition! The cleverest anti-Nazi propaganda yet! You will howl with glee when you see—and hear—what our London newsreel friends have cooked up for Hitler and his goose-stepping hordes. The "Nastics" skip and sway—in tune to the Lambeth Walk!
