Description

The original release sheet reads: 1. ROYAL WEDDING / ELIZABETH WEDS PHILIP AT ABBEY: LONDON - Pomp, pageantry and splendor unfold in austerity-ridden England, as thousands jam every vantage point in London to view the royal wedding. Here are the films a world has waited for—the nuptials of Princess Elizabeth and Philip Mountbatten, now a Prince. Colorful and spectacular scenes of the historic ceremony at Westminster Abbey—glimpses of the King and Queen and other royal notables—the triumphal procession through the streets back to Buckingham Palace—the rare and priceless wedding gifts, including the gift of Pres. Truman. The entire dramatic story unfolds for the world to see. On the balcony at the Palace, the happy young couple appears alone and with other members of the royal household, to receive the cheers of the multitude. The world joins Britain in wishing the two young people long life, prosperity and happiness.
