Draftees are called up as allied forces in South Korea fight desperate rear guard actions to hold the on-rolling Reds. 2. NATIONAL LEAGUERS WIN ALL-STAR GAME - In one of the most thrilled packed games of the season the National Leaguers finally win the decision after fourteen innings of play. The final score, four to three on a homer by Red Schoendienst of the Cardinals. 3. LA MOTTA KEEPS MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE: NEW YORK - After 15 torrid rounds, Jake LaMotta wins a unanimous decision over Tiberio Mitri of Italy. The Italian stages a gallant rally during the closing rounds but it's not enough to overcome the lead of slugging Jake. (LOCAL – CANADA) SPEEDBOAT REGATTA.
