Description
The original release sheet reads: 1. OUT OF THE TRAP / UNITED NATIONS FORCES FIGHT THEIR WAY TO KOREA BEACHHEAD EVACUATION: KOREA - First films of the dramatic escape of Marines and other U.N. units from the Chosin Reservoir trap—one of the great feats of arms of U.S. military history. Newsreel films depict the heroic struggle against the enemy and the weather. Aided by supplies dropped by cargo planes, the gallant troops fight their way out of the trap set by the Chinese communists, fight their way to Hungnam for evacuation by sea. 2. NOEL! / PEACE ON EARTH IS HOPE OF ALL AT CHRISTMAS TIME: AUSTRIA - In the picturesque little Alpine village of Oberndorf, where "Silent Night" was composed back in 1818, villagers gather in their quaint little church to sing the famous Christmas Carol. And the hearts of free men everywhere go out in hope for peace on earth, goodwill to men of goodwill.
