Captured communist films show Russian jets taking off from airfield. But Navy "Panther" jets score victory despite slower speed. 2. "IKE" CONFIDENT ON ATLANTIC PACT: WASHINGTON - Prior to his departure for Europe to take over as commander of the unified defense forces there, Gen. Eisenhower warns that the pact will only succeed if the U.S. and its allies make it succeed. 3. HITLER PAPERS FOUND: GERMANY - The black market brings to light interesting papers, paintings, documents and mementoes belonging to the Nazi warlord. Collection is valued at $200,000. 4A/B.
