Description

The original release sheet reads: 1. HAVEN FOR PW'S: KOREA - At Panmunjom, G.I.'s raise a tent city to receive the wounded and ill prisoners of war slated to be returned from Red captivity. Already on hand are medical personnel and facilities, an ambulance train, and helicopters to airlift the seriously ill to hospital areas. 2. UN CARES FOR WORLD'S CHILDREN - The United Nations' International Children's Emergency Fund undertakes one of the greatest medical and welfare campaigns in history. All over the world, doctors carry on a large-scale fight against disease and malnutrition―a 20th Century Children's Crusade. 3A/B/C. NAVY SQUADRON RETURNS: WASHINGTON - A joyous occasion as a Navy patrol squadron completes a trans-Pacific flight home after a six-moth tour of duty in Korea. / JAPANESE EXILES HOME: JAPAN - 4,000 Japanese see their homeland once again, after twelve years in China. Held since the end of World War II, they've been released by Red China. Thousands throng the pier for emotional reunions with loved ones. / NATURE'S ODDITY: LOS ANGELES - A startling sight on the waterfront is a nameless seagull going about his avian business with an arrow transfixing his body: He flies, fights, and scrambles for food as usual―not bothered a bit. 4. COLORFUL COIFFURES COMPETE: PARIS - Hair stylists from all over France compete for fame and fortune. Hairdos exotic and glamorous vie for the spotlight―a difficult decision to make for the judges. 5A/B. BRAVES AT MILWAUKEE: MILWAUKEE - The city turns out for a gala welcome, as its first major league team comes home for the first time. They roll out the red carpet for the Braves, with 200,000 cheering fans on hand. Boston was never like this, say team veterans. / MOTORCYCLE DRILL TEAM: LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles' crack motorcycle drill team displays their precision parade ground maneuvers—intertwining and crisscrossing at high speed in an impressive show, enough to give a traffic violator gray hair.
