FIGHTER-BOMBERS RIP COMMIE SUPPLY LINES: KOREA - As truce talks proceed, U.S. Thunderjets take to the air in a withering assault to stymie any Red plans for a build-up. Bombs, bullets, and rockets rake Commie supply lines in spectacular action sequences. 3A/B/C/D. Douglas and Eric Johnston. /AMBASSADOR LUCE ARRIVES IN ITALY: ITALY - Arriving in Naples, Mrs. Clare Boothe Luce gets a wildly enthusiastic reception from the people of Naples, a good omen as the attractive Lady diplomat takes up her new post. / SOLAR FURNACE TESTED: FRANCE - Scientists reveal the cosmic power of a giant solar furnace designed to harness the power of the sun. Light rays captured by giant mirrors concentrate enough energy to melt girders in seconds. / PIPE SMOKING TOURNEY: NEW YORK - Pipe smokers congregate for an endurance meet--the prize to whoever can eke out one pipe-load the longest. They sport dudeens, hookahs, and boilers of every description, including home-made gadgets. 4.
