The original release sheet reads: 1. FLOODS DEVASTATE NORTHEAST - The most destructive flood in American history devastates six northeastern states. Sixty hours of torrential rains pour down 19 inches of water on soil saturated and rivers swollen by Hurricane Connie. Rising without warning, the floods take a shocking toll--over 200 known dead, over 35,000 homeless, and billions of dollars’ worth of property damaged. Dozens of small communities were completely devastated, a tragedy of national proportions. 2. 1,000 DEAD IN MOROCCAN UPRISINGS - Years of rioting and unrest erupt into full-scale rebellion against French rule. Moroccans and savage Berber tribesmen inflict bloody vengeance on colonists and loyal natives, putting dozens of towns to the torch, putting men, women, and children to the sword.
