Description

The original release sheet reads: 1. Hot air makes news again in Moscow. 2. UNIVERSITY HONORS HERO PARSON: OHIO - At 121st anniversary ceremonies, Marietta College confers an honorary degree on a famous native son, Col. Dean Hess, the "Flying Parson," who left the pulpit to fly combat missions in World War II and Korea, and later dedicate his life to children–a thrilling career to be brought to the screen by U-I's forthcoming film "Battle Hymn." 3. FASHION PARADE: NEW YORK CITY - Rayon takes the fashion spotlight, in a wide range of new fabrics ranging from the simple, chic and stylish, to the downright sumptuous. New styles for every occasion, from basic afternoon apparel to a stunning evening gown that surpasses description. 4A/B/C. GOLF — DIAMOND STARS take to the links at Miami. Time out from spring training for Alvin Dark, Mickey Mantle, and Joe Black, among others taking part in the Baseball Players Gold Tournament. The winner, Lou Kretlow. / IKE enjoys his first day of gold since his heart attack, at Thomasville, Georgia. The weather smiles, and so does the President, despite some agonizingly near-miss putts. Ike's score? Over par, but he doesn't mind a bit.
