Towle returns to a frozen New York Harbor from a 3-month Antarctic cruise, and says the crew, it's colder here than there! At the South Pole, the trans-Antarctic Expedition of Dr. Vivian Fuchs arrives to be greeted by U.S. Navy personnel before pushing off on the second leg of the first coast-to-coast trek ever attempted. 3A/B/C.
