ALL-STAR GAME - At Baltimore, the 25th All-Star Game is marked by lack-luster hitting, as the American Leaguers win 4-3 on pinch-hitting by Ted Williams, and Gil McDougald and brilliant pitching by Billy O'Dell. 4. 25 YEARS AGO TODAY - One of a series of glimpses into a time not so long ago but already shrouded with memory and nostalgia.
