Gendarmes squelch an attempted Communist riot. / U-BOAT SALVAGED - In Sweden, A Nazi U-Boat is salvaged after 13 years on the bottom. Sunk in 1945 while attempting to run the allied blockade, it carried a rich high-priority cargo. / ZOO BIRTHDAY - To celebrate its 100th birthday, the Frankfurt Zoo brings in veritable platoons of zoo babies–anteaters, leopard cubs, llamas, giraffes, and elephants for a day of play and fantasy. 3.
