MAHDI DEAD - Vast throngs mourn one of the Sudan's beloved religious and political leaders. At Khartoum impressive funeral ceremonies are conducted for Sir Sayed Abdel Rahman el Mahdi, leader of the dervishes. / FORMOSA HAILS TIBET REBELS - On the Island of Formosa, more than 60,000 demonstrate and roar approval to encourage Tibet's anti-Red uprisings. As news developers of the Dalai Lama's escape to India, Chiang Kai-Shek predicts far greater revolts on the China mainland. / FOREIGN MINISTERS MEETING IN WASHINGTON, D.C. - Acting Secretary of State Christian Herter confers with the Foreign Ministers of Britain, France and West Germany. A pep and prep session before they convene with the Soviet Minister prior to the Summit meeting. 3.
